Geeta Nargund

Geeta Nargund is the Head of Reproductive Medicine at St George’s Hospital, London, as well as the Medical Director of the Centre for Reproduction and Advanced Technology. Her research interests and publications include Natural/Mild IVF and Advanced Ultrasound in Reproductive Medicine. She has published more than 50 peer-reviewed scientific papers and abstracts including several book chapters on assisted reproduction technology (ART). She has been an invited speaker at several international scientific meetings. She is the President of the International Society for Mild Approaches in Assisted Reproduction (ISMAAR) ( www.ismaar.org).She is also the Chair of the Special Task Force on Mild IVF for the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology(ESHRE).She is also a member of the ESHRE Special Task force and World Health Organisation (WHO) Expert Group on “infertility in developing countries” .She is a Visiting Professor at St Marco University Lima ,Peru and SDM Medical College, India.

She is passionate about prevention of infertility & making assisted conception treatments more physiological, safer and affordable globally.

She is the Founder & Chief Executive of the UK national charity, Health Education Research (HER) Trust (www.hertrust.org).

She has been a Senior Governor of Primary & Secondary Schools in South London.

She has been actively involved in National & International Charities promoting Education, Women’s development, Equality and Diversity.
