Mollie Graneek
Mollie Graneek is a Registered Nurse and State Certified Midwife and has worked in the field of women's health for the last 25 years. She spent 5 years in breast cancer research and was chemotherapy co-ordinator at the Royal Free Hospital . In 1981 she returned to midwifery and has experience in looking after normal and problematical pregnancy. She has been responsible for promoting sexual health and awareness and has worked closely with teenage health issues including sexually transmitted diseases, unwanted pregnancy and the ensuing consequences. She works also in an advisory capacity, advising about contraception, breast awareness, cervical screening and HRT.
Mollie was awarded an RSA Certificate in Counselling in 1996 and went on to complete a postgraduate diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling in 1998. She is at present writing an MSc in Gestalt Psychotherapy which is a holistic therapy and integrates well with health issues. She is a fertility counsellor at the London Women's Clinic and works on the IVF Unit at the Cromwell Hospital . Mollie has a worked at the Birth Company at the Hospital of St. John and St. Elizabeth and has a particular interest in the developing relationship between mother and baby. She works with women suffering from post-natal anxiety and depression.
